Consultation / Complex Case Management / Fitness to fly after illness or injury

The Need
An illness or injury need not bring a pilot’s career to a halt. Some medical conditions may result in temporary unfitness, very few cause permanent unfitness.
What Can We Do For You?
We offer advice based on international best practices and regulatory medical requirements to recommend suitable medical treatment without compromising aviation safety or making you unfit for longer than necessary.
Once you have recovered adequately to apply for renewal of medical certificate, we help advocate your case with the necessary investigations and specialist opinions for assessment by the aviation regulator.
This helps save time and effort to regain your medical certificate.
We maintain complete confidentiality and advocate with the regulator(s) only with your consent.

Maintaining Fitness to Fly for Pilots, Cabin Crew

The Need
As a pilot, you have invested in your dreams. Your medical certificate ensures fitness to fly for 1 year. But do you know you would stay fit for the say next 10 years and more?
We encourage and assist you on a one-to-one basis to maintain long term health and fitness to fly for many years.
The way you live, eat and work including your stresses can affect your health and lead to lifestyle related diseases that can be prevented. Primary prevention is more effective in improving, both long term health and safety. ICAO is also advocating pilots to adopt a lifestyle that minimises health risks and increases the chances of a full career.
What can we do for you?
At the time of your initial or renewal medicals or in between, we offer you a friendly and supportive discussion, about your lifestyle patterns and family history, to help identify areas to focus in order to stay in good physical and mental (emotional) health.
In case you already have a health problem, (even a high BMI), we explain and help you understand how best to take care of yourself, and to alter some of your lifestyle to help improve and monitor your health.
